IDP provides expert legal advice to community members, non-profit advocates, and appointed counsel on the immigration consequences of contact with criminal and family legal systems in New York State. While IDP cannot provide direct representation in immigration proceedings, we can offer individualized advice.
Note: Due to the high demand for our services from indigent immigrants and appointed counsel, we are unable to provide individualized advice to private counsel. However, private attorneys can access our written resources.
